The Bmotion® Technology Roadmap
Bmotion® envisions an interconnected ecosystem of intelligent technologies designed to understand the mind, develop personalised mental training, explore neuroplasticity, support recovery and ultimately advance human performance through non-invasive interfaces.
From AiCad® and LOOPER® to future research concepts including Ecoblends® and Humome®, our roadmap explores how neuroscience, biology, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies could work together to support human potential — across golf, other sports and beyond.
AiCad® — Understanding the Mind
AiCad® explores AI-assisted mentalising: developing a contextual understanding of how a player thinks, feels and prepares for performance. Through spoken conversations, player-reported experiences and planned voice-tone analysis, AiCad aims to interpret psychological patterns and support more personalised mental-performance guidance. Rather than simply issuing instructions, AiCad is designed to guide players through a reflective conversation, helping them recognise their mental state and identify approaches that may improve their preparation.
LOOPER® — Training the Mind
LOOPER® explores personalised, adaptive mental training through AI-assisted interpretation of a player’s reported psychological state. The system aims to develop self-learning mental loops that help golfers recognise patterns in their thinking and discover which interventions best support their preparation. The current prototype explores simple pre-shot routines, while V3 development will investigate spoken guidance, voice-tone analysis, Apple Watch physiological signals and Rapsodo launch-monitor data. By examining relationships between mental preparation, physiological responses and shot outcomes, LOOPER aims to progressively personalise interventions to the individual golfer.
Bmotion® — Neuroplasticity & Movement
Bmotion® explores the potential of neuroplasticity and digitally supported motor learning to transform how people develop physical skills. Building upon the mental-performance foundations of AiCad® and LOOPER®, Bmotion envisions technologies that could help the brain rehearse, refine and reinforce movement patterns through personalised training experiences. Initially focused on golf, the longer-term vision extends to tennis, squash, snooker and other precision-based sports. By investigating how mental rehearsal, sensory feedback and emerging technologies influence motor learning, Bmotion aims to explore more accessible and efficient approaches to skill development, potentially reducing the time, travel and expense associated with conventional physical practice.
Ecoblends® — Recovery & Rejuvenation
Ecoblends® explores the relationship between sleep, recovery and human performance. The concept envisions intelligent, earbud-like wearable technologies that could support personalised recovery experiences by combining physiological insights, adaptive audio and emerging neuroscience research. By investigating how rest, sensory stimulation and biological rhythms influence physical and cognitive restoration, Ecoblends aims to explore new approaches to sleep quality, recovery and everyday wellbeing. This remains an early-stage research vision, with future development focused on evaluating feasibility, safety and measurable benefits.
Humome® — Future Non-Invasive BCI
Humome® represents Bmotion’s long-term vision for non-invasive brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) that could enable more intuitive interactions between the human brain and digital technologies. The concept explores the potential of head-, ear- and eye-based sensing systems, combined with artificial intelligence, to investigate how neural and physiological signals might inform personalised experiences. Building upon the foundations of AiCad®, LOOPER®, Bmotion® and Ecoblends®, Humome envisions a future in which technology can respond more intelligently to human cognitive and physiological states. This remains an exploratory research ambition rather than an established BCI capability, with future progress dependent on advances in sensing technology, scientific validation, privacy and safety.
The Future Begins With the Brain.
From understanding the mind to training mental performance, exploring neuroplasticity, supporting recovery and advancing non-invasive brain-computer interfaces, Bmotion® is building a vision for a more intelligent relationship between biology and technology. Five interconnected concepts. One ambition: to explore how the human brain can unlock new possibilities for performance, movement and wellbeing.
